Wonga Beach Horseback Riding Tour

Wonga Beach Equestrian Centre is also able to assist event organisers with horses and riders for special events.

Our horses have been used for numerous photo shoots and commercials, including the highly successful Tourism Queensland commercial. In addition we have used our horses for weddings on Four Mile Beach as well as special events such as the launch of the new Toyota Landcruiser in October 2007.

The Toyota launch was the perfect example to showcase the temperament of our horses. Steve Jeffries, one of Australia’s most noted riders (Steve was responsible for the Horses in the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympics) was commissioned to put together a “Man from Snowy River” style performance as part of the launch.

Steve spent 2 weeks with his team of riders (including Jason from Wonga Beach Equestrian Centre) and trained horses from our establishment to take part in the event.

With MIG fighter jets, helicopters, speed boats buzzing around them, our horses were exceptionally calm and were both a credit to themselves and Steve’s training principles.
